For Every Ten Smiles We Photograph, One Will Be Saved!

On April 21, Sarah Hinchey Photography will participate with an elite group of photographers around the country in a very special portrait promotion. On that day we will be providing a wonderful opportunity for you to update portraits of yourself or your children. In doing so, you will help support Operation Smile, which provides free surgeries for children around the world who suffer with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.

Along with other members of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), we are offering the gift of an individual portrait session and a desk-sized portrait in exchange for a $24 donation to Operation Smile. For every 10 individuals we photograph, another child will receive the gift of surgery! It costs as little as $240 for Operation Smile's medical volunteers to provide a life-changing surgery that can take as little as 45 minutes. One hundred percent of each donation will go to Operation Smile.

Boston Children's Photographer ~ One Year Old!

I met Mrs. "H" when her adorable Baby "C" was just a few weeks old. He's the same age as my little guy, and it's amazing to see how much they've grown and changed over the course of a year. People with children always say it goes by so fast, and they're right. I was honored to be able to capture this milestone for Baby "C." I think he's is the most easy going baby I know, and he didn't disappoint when it came time to take his photos. He was so agreeable and let us get some great shots. Thank you so much "H" family. I hope these pictures always remind you of your sweet, laid back little one year old.

New Hampshire Children's Photographer ~ Afternoon at the Park

I was excited to spend some time with the "A" family last weekend. The boys were on their best behavior because they knew their shelf elf (they've named him Eegan) was watching. We decided to do our photo shoot at a nearby park, and the backdrop was amazing for photos. I had so much fun with you guys "A" family. You have such a fun and silly energy, and I was so grateful to be able to capture that for you. Enjoy your pictures!

Boston Children's Photographer ~ Like Brothers

My good friend Lindsay is a nanny for two little boys, baby "C" and baby "W." Their moms have a nanny share with Lindsay, and she has been taking care of them since they were both just three months old. The two of them have such a strong bond you'd think they're brothers. Lindsay invited me over for a photo shoot as a gift to the boys' parents, and we decided to head down to the playground for some action shots. I definitely got a workout chasing those busy little guys! I don't know how Lindsay does it every day. I hope these pictures always remind them of this time in their lives, and the close friendship they've developed.

Massachusetts Family Photographer ~ Back to the Arboretum

A few weeks ago it was back to the JP Arboretum, this time with the "S" family. Little "I" was excited about the opportunity to wear his special picture shoes, and Baby "E" looked too cute with her pigtails. Afterwards, we all went to the zoo where they were celebrating a baby gorilla's first birthday (with a princess themed party, of course). So fun! I had an awesome time making these pictures, and I hope you love them "S" family!

Massachusetts Newborn Photographer ~ Newborn Baby Girl!

I met up with the "E" family this summer for a maternity session on the beach, and recently had the opportunity to photograph them again with their newborn baby. I was sure to capture all of the little details, like her precious hands and feet. As they get older, it's easy to forget just how tiny they once were. I had a great time photographing the "D" family at the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain. The leaves were just starting to change color, and it was the perfect location for a shoot. Little "R" was so good about having her picture taken, her parents rewarded her with a trip to JP Licks after our session. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing the "F" family. We went to the most gorgeous beach on the North Shore. It was a perfect backdrop for family photos, and light was amazing. I couldn't resist capturing this landscape and the sunset after our session. The girls had a ton of fun investigating all of the rocks and snails along the beach. I'm sure they slept well that night.
